What have been the highlights of your career?
I don’t know, I still don’t think I’ve made it. I have a lot left to do. I can make better albums and do better shows. I’ve only done 20 per cent of what I can achieve. I’ve still got years left in my career to kick ass. But maybe I’m done. Who knows?

What’s the most unusual gig you’ve done?
I did one in India. Women aren’t really allowed to go to concerts so it was 90 per cent male. It was one of the best crowds I’ve seen. I went to Bangalore and Mumbai. It’s a beautiful country and the people are amazing.

Have you got a typical fan?
My target audience is females between the ages of 70 and 85.

Do they send you their knickers in the post?
Once in a while. They usually like to give me their knickers in person.

What’s the most extreme thing a fan’s done to meet you?
A fan hid under a table in my dressing room with her little sister for ten hours. She got in there before the soundcheck and didn’t come out until after the gig. She’d been there all day and was quite scared.

You did an ITV pop show recently. Had you heard of Will Young before?
Yes, and I love his voice.

Are you rivals?
With Will Young? Ha ha ha!

What was the first record you bought?
Dire Straits’ Brothers In Arms. It’s still one of my favourite albums.

What was the first gig you saw?
The Jackson Five in the Orange Bowl and I saw Bruce Springsteen too when I was a little kid. He blew me away.

What’s the worst gig you’ve ever done?
It was a charity concert in Las Vegas where the entire audience were 90 and older and were all asleep.

Did you try to wake them up?
You could have sprayed them with cocaine and nothing would have happened.

What’s the secret of your popularity?
The popularity of any singer is down to the songs. Other elements come into it afterwards but if you don’t have the songs you don’t have s***. It doesn’t matter how pretty you are or how well you dance.

What’s been your most extravagant purchase?
I’m not flashy. I bought a plane but that was for work. I figured I might as well do my work as comfortably as possible.

Can you fly it?
I can fly smaller planes but I’m not interested in flying my own. You get to a certain height and press a button and it flies itself. It seems boring.

Is it a jumbo jet?
Yes, it’s a 747. Only kidding. It just seats around 14.

Have you got a Jacuzzi in it?
Yes, and a dancing pole and the flight attendant is a stripper. Actually, that’s a good idea. I should get a stripping flight attendant.

Where would you recruit the stripping flight attendant from?
I don’t know. Russia has beautiful girls, Brazil has beautiful girls, London has beautiful girls, my pool sometimes has a lot of beautiful girls. Only kidding.

What’s been your best ever Christmas present?
It sounds stupid but it’s being able to work over Christmas. If I’m working during Christmas I know things are going well for me. It sounds cheesy but it’s true.

Have you ever seen a psychic?
I saw one in Dubai. She told me the kind of s*** I thought I’d like to hear but you could tell she said that to everyone. She told me I was going to become famous but as I was there to play a concert, she was a bit late with that prediction.

CHEESY crooner ENRIQUE IGLESIAS puckers up with an ANNA KOURNIKOVA lookalike on stage in London last night.



The Spanish heartthrob - who has been fighting reports he has split up from the real deal after moving out of the tennis beauty's home in Miami last month - invited thrilled fan Maria Carroll up on stage after spotting her in the audience at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball.

Serenading female fans during a rendition of Hero has become something of a trademark for Enrique.

However I'm sure Anna will not be to thrilled to see her boyfriend of seven years following his actions up with a snog and a feel of her bum.

Enrique recently told a magazine a row with Anna about his dogs forced him to look for a new pad.

He said: "She kicked me out.

"We had a fight. We did make up, but she didn’t let me move back in. It was a stupid fight – something about my dogs.


"I'll move back when she lets me."

However on this form, I don't reckon Enrique should hold his breath.

Enrique Iglesias Doesn't See Future With Anna Kournikova


Enrique Iglesias Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias is unfazed by his girlfriend Anna Kournikova's remarks that she would never marry him because he's convinced she'll leave him anyway.

The singer has been dating tennis beauty Kournikova since 2002, but he isn't holding out for marriage and kids with the Russian.

He says, "Life goes by so fast. My 20s were a blur. I want to enjoy the good moments. They could involve marriage and kids, but not yet. My grandfather had a baby when he was 92. Now there was a man who knew how to live! Anna's clock may be ticking, but I don't think she's ready for kids either. We talked about it all one day and she said that she wouldn't marry me. And she meant it. She said I'm probably just a guy she wants to date for a few years, then she'll leave me. I'm cool with that.

"Obviously I'm with her because she's my dream woman. But if she left me tomorrow, what am I going to do? She would have no trouble finding the guy she wants to marry."

And Iglesias insists he's only being realistic about their romance, because few relationships last to stand the test of time.

He continues, "People break up all the time. The reality is people get married, think it's going to be forever, then they get divorced."

But if Kournikova one day accepts his marriage proposal, he claims he'd shun a big, white wedding in favour of a quickie ceremony in Las Vegas.

He adds, "Even if Anna and I were to have children, I wouldn't think marriage was that important. And even if we did get married, I'd do it in a drive-through in Vegas. But Anna wouldn't marry someone like me, even if I try."

Enrique Iglesias cântă la Vanghelion

Unul dintre cei mai populari artişti din noua generaţie, Enrique Iglesias (foto), va cânta la deja tradiţionalul Vanghelion, de la Romexpo.

Fostul iubit al tenismenei sex-simbol Anna Kournikova se va afla pentru a doua oară în România, în 2002 el susţinând un concert pe Stadionul “Lia Manoliu”.

Fiul lui Julio Iglesias va avea un recital de aproximativ 60 de minute în faţa celor peste 3.000 de bucureşteni, care vor petrece noaptea dintre ani în sălile de la Romexpo. Se pare că şi Ştefan Bănică jr va fi unul dintre invitaţii Vanghelionului, negocierile cu acesta fiind în curs de finalizare.

Contractele cu ei nu au fost însã semnate deocamdatã. „Ieri am terminat altã campanie pentru un client ºi astãzi am început sã-i recontactãm pe artiºtii români ca sã putem semna contractele“, au mai adãugat organizatorii, care mai au încã de lucru la Vanghelion: trebuie sã recondiþioneze toate decorurile ºi sã refacã designul. Enrique Iglesias continua sa atraga atentia asupra sa prin gesturi ciudate. Dupa ce saptamana trecuta informam ca a chemat pe scena o fana si a sarutat-o pe buze, iata ca saptamana aceasta a trecut la fapte ceva mai… incitante. Artistul si-a pozat zona intima chiar pe scena, spre deliciul fanelor.

Bine, acum sa nu ne imaginam ca si-a dat Jos lenjeria intima. Nu, si-a facut loc cat sa incapa aparatul foto si sa capteze partea de interes, informeaza dailymail.co.uk.

Daca Enrique va fi atat de darnic incat sa ofere poza unei fane (asta daca nu a facut-o deja), probabil ca fericita va vedea ce n-a vazut Parisul.

Mai tineti minte cand spuneam ca Enrique Iglesias spera sa se intoarca in casa pe care o impartea cu Anna Kournikova ? Nu credem ca ea e foarte incantata de ce vede, asa ca s-ar putea sa dureze destul de muuuult pana sa se infapuiasca dorinta latin lover-ului.
